Pet ID Process

The staff at Angel Paws Pet Cremation has instituted a comprehensive pet identification procedure to assure owners that they are, in fact, receiving their own pet’s cremains. The identification process is as follows:

Step One:

Paperwork is generated for each pet that we receive into our facility. At a minimum, this paperwork will contain the owner’s name, pet date of death, weight, and a general description of the pet.

Step Two:

A numbered pet cremation ID tag is assigned to your pet. This pet cremation ID tag physically stays with your pet up until the time of cremation.

Step Three:

After the cremation is complete, your pet’s cremains are immediately placed into the appropriate urn.

Step Four:

The cremation ID tag is placed into your beloved companion’s urn.

Step Five:

A final check is conducted to ensure the accuracy of our customer’s order.

I forgot to write a review at the time but my sweet little fur baby passed away suddenly and so we called them. They came out really quick and we're very respectful in the handling of our dog. When we went to the place to see him put in the cremation thing they allowed us a few minutes to say our final goodbyes. We paid extra to have him be the only one and we received the ashes the same day since our appointment was early in the day. We got an urn with his photo and a snippit of his hair and clay impression of his paw. While I hate thinking of my pets dying, I will definitely be using them in the future. They were very kind knowing how hard a pet death is and very respectful of the body. This is a service no one wants to need but when needed I highly recommend them.

The passing of my beloved cat, Kity Kity, was very sad and traumatic for me and my wife. We had her for 17 years. Angle Paws treated us like family. The receptions made it a very comfortable situation and took Care of our Kity Kity, and us. He understood our grief and our moaning. They know that the loss of a pet, was like lossing a member of our family. We are happy that Angle Paws took care of Kity Kity, and now she's home. Thank you Angle Paws.Tom and Araceli

Absolutely horrible do not use these people . I paid over $300 for my dog to get Cremated two months ago. Still nothing. No communication from them. I have to consistently ask where my dog is as they forget to text you, they forget the message you, they forget everything even your dog that you paid them for a Service.

I would encourage anyone to avoid using Angel Paws. My beloved cat died the end of December, 2023. It took Angel Paws over three weeks to return ashes and they had mishandled her ashes and the ashes they returned were of another animal. It took a week for them to find my cat's ashes and return them. Hopefully they were her ashes. They made a very sad time for us very distressing. An owner, Chris, did not consistently return calls and he did not follow-through with everything he said. A terrible experience and they were unprofessional. Please check out other reviews. Apparently this isn't their first time of horrible service.

Our dog was taken by a coyote. It was such a tragic experience for the entire family. Fortunately, my daughter found "Angel Paws" on the web. They were absolutely amazing. They wasted no time picking him up, caring for him and returning him as promised. They were empathic to our needs and feelings. I would strongly recommend them to anyone

I wanna say thank you so much to Angel Paws for the truly compassionate package I received my fur baby in. They included her fur and a few poems about crossing the rainbow bridge. I am very thankful to see such love, this truly made me so happy to see this. Will forever use Angel Paws for my other fur babies. Thank you.

Angel paws did a beautiful job with my dogs cremation. I had them pick up our dog when she passed and was greeted by a very kind, understanding, and helpful individual. I chose the gold package (certification, hair trimmings, paw print, and cremains place in a beautiful cedar box with lock and key) and was not disappointed. Thank you so much Angel Paws!

Our buddy Poker passed of old age on June 24th of 2018. We had no idea what to do with the remains all we knew was that we wanted to keep him with us always and burial was not an option since we dont own a home. I called several places and Angel Paws was the only business that called me back. They offered various packages that included some very beautiful mementos all at very affordable prices. My mother wanted an urn instead of a little box and were extremely helpful in finding just what she wanted for our buddy of 13 years. They tailored their service to our needs and we are very appreciative for it. We had to wait a good bit and believe me that was hardly an issue when we finally got Pokers cremains back home. We couldn't have been any happier with the service. Thank You!

If you are looking for genuine compassion during this difficult time, this is the place to go. I highly recommend using angel paws if you are looking for pet euthanasia and cremation. These gentleman helped us with both. From the first time we first called until we came to pick up our beloved Spikes remains, these gentlemen made the process very easy for us. They helped us find a veterinarian that came out to our home to euthanize our beloved Spike. We were not only shown a high level of compassion throughout the process, what we received back from them was just amazing. The urn, paw print and fur clipping we received back are so beautifully done and will be something we will always cherish. It has been a difficult time saying goodbye but we are extremely grateful for the help we received at this company.

Our dachshund was taken by a hive of African bees. Traumatic on the kids, and us. We decided to cremate and plan to place some ashes and plant into a tree urn so his life continues. The guys at Angel Paws were very kind and helpful. The service was fast and he came back to us within a week. The wooden urn supplied in our package was very nicely personalized. I recommend this company to help in these sad situations

I have had a terrible experience with this place so far. After being told I can come back in and pick up the remains of my dog, I have stopped by twice during advertised business hours (online and on the door); both during the week... once around 11 AM and once around 3 PM. With both instances there was nobody on site and nobody answered the phone. This place needs to get their act together if they are going to be in a sensitive industry. Still trying to collect remains. Would never recommend after such an unprofessional experience.

Angel Paws Pet Cremation is a fantastic pet crematory. I lost a cat of 16 years that I really loved, but what they provide gave me closure she's at peace. They gave me a bit of her hair, along with a paw print, two poems, a certificate of cremation, and a beautiful box with her name on it. Coming from San Diego, this was absolutely worth the drive.
